I started in the design field in 2002, working in both commercial and residential interiors. As a furniture design consultant, I take the time to listen to each client and develop a plan that combines design and function, making their home a place they want to share with friends and family, perfect for entertaining and living. I utilize a mixture of colors, textures, and lighting to reflect my clients' personalities and meet their design needs. I firmly believe that every piece you bring into your space should be loved. Your home should feel comfortable, inviting, and truly reflect your unique personality.

I grew up in Raleigh and spent most of my twenties in NYC before moving to Asheville in 2015. Raised by creative parents, I was immersed in the arts from an early age, which shaped my eye for design. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design, but it was later that I chose to fully pursue my passion for interiors. As a design consultant, I bring a thoughtful, intuitive approach to helping clients create spaces that feel both beautiful and personal. I’m drawn to an eclectic mix of styles, with a love for layering materials, textures, and patterns—from sleek and modern to warm and traditional, and everything in between. I love being a part of helping customers bring their vision to life.

Hello, I’m Jasmine! I’m originally from Florida and moved up to North Carolina for college. I graduated locally from Montreat College. My degree is in Business management, and I’ve chosen to continue school part time to receive my MBA. I interned at Tyson Furniture for ten months and then moved into sales! During my internship, my knowledge and confidence for the furniture industry grew. My heart for customer service/satisfaction, creativity, and passion for business is why I’ve enjoyed working in furniture sales. As a service-minded creative type, I love working in a family environment. Originally from Virginia, I began as a retail furniture buyer and transitioned into kitchen and bath design after moving to the coast of NC. In 2007, my husband and I moved to WNC to be closer to family, and I eventually found my way back to home decor, where I now work alongside talented furniture design consultants. I've been with Tyson Furniture since 2011, and the wealth of knowledge from our home decor experts here is invaluable. When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking and spending time with family, especially near the salty air of the sea or hiking in these beautiful mountains while appreciating the art of interior design services.

I like helping people figure out what they actually like and making it work in their space. Most of the time it's already there, it just needs to be pulled together. 

I've always been really sensitve to my environment. I can feel when a space is off, and I can feel when it just works. It's instinct more than anything. I tend to pick up on the small thing- the music someone loves, what they're drawn to, the way they dress, their overall energy. It all gives a sense of who they are. 

I have worked both retail and commercial projects in Miami, FL and I've been in luxury retail for years. I also ran a custom perfume business, which was the same idea in a different form, reading people and finding what feels right for them. 

There's usually a point where it all just clicks- and you can feel it.

I live in Burke County with my family and my cat. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, crafting, and spending quality time with my family. Growing up in Lenoir, I was born into a large family of furniture craftsmen, so furniture design is in my blood. As a proud NC native, I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Communications. I love connecting with my clients and providing design ideas that create spaces they love. I've been with Tyson Furniture since 2012, and I can honestly say this is the most family-oriented company I've ever worked for. We are one big family here!
