I started in the design field in 2002, working in both commercial and residential interiors. As a furniture design consultant, I take the time to listen to each client and develop a plan that combines design and function, making their home a place they want to share with friends and family, perfect for entertaining and living. I utilize a mixture of colors, textures, and lighting to reflect my clients' personalities and meet their design needs. I firmly believe that every piece you bring into your space should be loved. Brought up by creative parents, I was always surrounded by the arts. I received my BFA in Graphic Design, but it wasn't until much later that I decided to pursue my lifelong passion for interiors. As a furniture design consultant, I have an eye for design and love helping people create beautiful spaces for their homes. I appreciate all styles from Contemporary and Minimalist design to French Country and everything in between. As a service-minded creative type, I love working in a family environment. Originally from Virginia, I began as a retail furniture buyer and transitioned into kitchen and bath design after moving to the coast of NC. In 2007, my husband and I moved to WNC to be closer to family, and I eventually found my way back to home decor, where I now work alongside talented furniture design consultants. I've been with Tyson Furniture since 2011, and the wealth of knowledge from our home decor experts here is invaluable. When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking and spending time with family, especially near the salty air of the sea or hiking in these beautiful mountains while appreciating the art of interior design services.

In 2015, I relocated to WNC, where I began my journey as a furniture design consultant. Growing up in Lenoir, I was born into a large family of furniture craftsmen, so furniture design is truly in my blood. As a proud NC native, I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Communications.
